Created for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, this was a proposal for a public art piece to mark the entry to a renovated public safety building. Two giant etched-glass fingerprints playfully referred to police procedure, forming a gateway experience. On a sunny day, these patterns would have moved along the ground plane, creating abstracted shadows, while the overlaps of the fingerprints would have created a shimmering moiré for those passing by.
