Porch Light

These light stanchions and pavilions were short-listed for construction along Marinaside Crescent, a waterfront promenade at the Concord Pacific development in Vancouver.

The Porch Light structures were a fusion of mollusc shapes blended with ship deck chairs. Construction of public chaise lounges add a leisurely quality to the platforms. Each pavilion was anchored to a blue-purple light to give a gentle glow in the evening, visible from across the water.
