Le Chateau

This flagship store is an interior and exterior renovation sited near the corner of Robson and Burrard Streets in downtown Vancouver, Canada. As this location is one of the most prominent retail areas in North America, the design was developed to create maximum visibility within the competitive commercial milieu. A light-framed window system was designed to provide for maximum display, along with a whimsical set of interior furnishings including a cash table and shoe display system (shoebitat). The cantilevered roof figures signify men’s and women’s apparel; these figures became chairs inside too!
