The proposed pedestrian overpass located in Surrey, BC, fuses highway infrastructure with a symbol of BC’s west coast, the salmon. Ubiquitous reflective pavement markers are used to evoke the iridescent glint of salmon scales giving the structure a strange zoomorphic quality.
