False Creek Fishermen’s Memorial

This memorial will celebrate members of the Vancouver commercial fishing fleet who have passed away over the last half-century. Individual boats silhouettes will be cantilevered from the seawall at the entrance to the still-functioning marina and will be positioned such that they are headed out to sea; a literal and metaphoric reference to the passage of space and time.
