Our studio collaborated with PWL Partnership Landscape Architects on a master plan to enlarge and enhance this existing municipal cemetery. The design included new burial terraces for over 4,000 interments, and a series of columbaria and mausolea punctuated by open spaces within a forested setting. A new system of gates, way-finding signage, furniture and pathways were designed to eventually link the cemetery with mountain and stream hiking paths. Concepts were also developed for an administration/congregation centre and a separate works facility.
