Savage Council

“…we can stand in a room full of dear friends, knowing that nine-tenths of them, if the pack demands it, will become our enemies”

— Doris Lessing, The Prisons We Choose to Live Inside.

“Savage Council” was an exploration to find the common ground between the worlds of theatre and dance. For this production we designed a giant plywood table and chair set which could be arranged and rearranged by the performers.
