This large spoon-shaped drinking fountain was created for the City of Victoria, Canada, as part of the Centennial Square refurbishment. Using motion sensors and a time clock, the fountain is activated by those who need a refreshing drink of water. At the same time, automated sprays send water down a flume to provide moisture for a planting area.
The piece was beautifully created by Accent Stainless Steel and co-designed with Daly Landscape Architecture.
