A massive, 215m (700′) pier was re-built as part of the redevelopment of the Burrard Shipyards site in North Vancouver, BC into a recreational amenity for the city. In collaboration with Durante Kreuk Landscape Architects, we designed the new pier deck, site furnishings, lighting, viewing platforms, event foci, and other components for the project. A palette of materials and forms were chosen to retain the original lexicon of shipbuilding fabrication.
